Swedish Brandy Productions is proud to present a sweet and deep vinyl sampler of Andre Zimma's new album entitled The Calm & the Turbulence Part 1. On this release you will find four original mind expanding beat joints from their album and two remixes from Sygaire (of Jazzanova fame) and Slope. Sygaire brings us a grooving disco/ boogie remix of Hope is on the Way. The Slope mix of Time Exists in Memories takes us further with a hypnotizing deep pumping tech-house dub. Simply real music for real people. Do not sleep.

Andre Zimma aka Slope is made up of Daniel Paul and DJ Honesty - both live in Berlin. The story begins in 1996, the year in which the Urberliner Daniel Paul bumps into the Cologne immigrant Honesty during a party at Berlin's alternative cultural centre Tacheles and they decide to join forces on a common music project - Slope is born. Daniel and Honesty then spend countless nights together, nowadays producing a progressive fusion of house, boogie, and techno flavoured with jazz and soul.

Since their early producer days, Daniel Paul and DJ Honesty have been spinning records all over Europe, often back to back, moving the people to the max, mixing house and slate night boogie beats. In fact, it really doesn't matter if these two work as producers in their studio or as DJs in Clubs, they know no boundaries!
